Flow Week 4

“The present moment is a conspiracy of the total universe. To resist it is to resist the universe. Let go and flow.”

Deepak Chopra

What if that state of flow appears from a different perspective? What if we could infuse glimpses of flow state into our day? This would not be exactly the state of flow you feel when you are running in a race and your body seems to be moving with no effort or when you are playing Moonlight Sonata on the piano. Imagine if your natural condition was not relying on externals but you discover what you already are, which is here and you could learn to shift into that state anywhere, anytime. This is where the practice of mindfulness can guide us to this new perspective.

Let’s call this state of flow that we bring to our center, effortless concentration. It will be a time selected by us that does not depend on the beautiful mountain scene, or the sound of the waves. We can achieve this state of flow through our meditation practice. Our ego drops away, you are in the now, you feel connected to everything around you. You let go and discover the inner beauty of yourself in the process.
