Flow Week 3

Marcus is always offering us wisdom on every facet of our lives. If you were able to determine when you were in the flow state this past week, take a minute to congratulate yourself. If you did not find it yet, follow the counsel of the above quote, dig deeper.

We can start the process of digging deeper by going inward. We are so busy with the doing and the result that we neglect to notice the process of our doing. This is the practice for the week. Start the process of noticing the transition when you move from one activity to the next. Stop for even 5 seconds each time you transition. The example is, you get in the car, stop and sit, notice your body, what you are thinking about, then start the engine. When we spend time on each transition of our day, we may be more aware of our own actions and discover when we are in flow. As always mind techniques, be kind and give yourself grace when you forget to stop at a transition.  Being kind to yourself is a practice.
