Generosity was added to the foundations of mindfulness because it is so critical to our relationships and existence. It attunes us to our inner self and the recognition of how much we already have within. By practicing generosity mindfully, we become aware of the effect on ourselves and others. It becomes an act of connection for us, first to our inner self and then those around us.
